Douglas Roll and the Iroquois

What comes to mind when I think of Douglas Roll at OLA? Apart from The Alter Boys, Rye Beach and funerals, the time we spent on the floor of his living room creating a model Iroquois Long House. I think that must have been in Sr. Paul's fifth grade. That was a great project! I grew up in a Rego Park apartment on the first floor. At the time, I thought that Douglas' family must have been super wealthy, living in a luxury apartment building, on such a high floor. Somehow the name of the building, The Saxon comes to mind. Remember the class trip we had to the Museum of the American Indian? -Tom
