Ms Marus

Yes, it is true. Ms. Marus passed away at least 15 years ago. After I became a teacher, she would come to my home to visit during the Christmas vacations. I heard that she was going grocery shopping for her mother, had just pulled her car into Queens Blvd. and was hit head on by another car and died instantly. If there is another Joan Marus who is listed, at age 70, I think that would be a little too young. Remember, our Ms. Marus had been a nun, left the order and then was teaching quite a few years at OLA, and yes, then at Stella Marris HS before her death. The math just doesnt work!
