How did you find the time!

Suzette, what an impressive educational career you've had! I'm so happy for you and can totally understand your excitement for what you have chosen to do in life. I completely agree that connecting with the population you service is an asset in this type of work. Try to remember some of your professors so we can compare notes. I have great memories of all of them and still keep in touch with some. Did you also work with speech impaired children? That's wonderful! You're definitely a woman on the move. I wish you all the best. I think May 1st is emerging as the appointed date and I've given Leo some info. about the two places I called. The Sly Fox Inn is a small place ,but we would have our own private area and afterwards could move out to the bar, which also has a small dance floor.Terrace on the Park is beautiful but a bit costly if we can not guarantee 60 people. I'm also going to look for places by me,in Bayside. Bell Blvd. has great restaurants.I think Anna may also be searching the Forest Hills area,so hopefully something great will turn up.My husband will be coming,as he is enjoying this "blast from the Past" very much.He is partial to Austin Street since he spent many years working out of the 112th precinct ,before going to 1 Police Plaza. He likes many of the restaurants there, but admits that the parking and the crowds are a problem.Have a great night all, talk soon. Zeida
