Mission Accomplished
I have entered my dates onto Johns spread sheet.
Just today, while cleaning out the attic, my son, Austin, found a bag containing OLD diaries of mine. I read one of the entries and it was written on my birthday of my 14th year. Apparently Carol was in on giving me a party at my house. She took me out shopping ( so the diary says) until 2pm where we returned and the party began. I list who was there, and even the gift they kindly gave. I mentioned Sonja, Linda,Anna, of course Carol,Tommy, Matthew, Douglas and a few others. It was funny because the diary says that Tommy bought me a perfume, but it broke so he went back out an got me a wallet insteaad, but he told me about the broken perfume. I got a chuckle out of that. Its funny because before reading the diary, I really couldnt recall these events, but after reading it, the party was right in the forfront of my memory - like it happened only a year or so ago, and not more than I care to remember. It's a funny thing - memory, isnt it? If this can happen just from reading a diary - imagine what memories will be invoked when we reconvene after all these years !
