Reunion Dates

I want us to decide, I think!!!

Seriously, Leo, I have a tight schedule, but I am willing to make it a little bit more crammed by making the reunion. I am returning to graduate school starting January 25th and attending classes every other weekend until April 5th. Then I am off for 2 weeks, and I start the entire business all over again for the next 8 weeks of weekends. Besides that, of course, I am also teaching Monday through Friday. I do not have a calendar in front of me right now, but I do know these dates which I have just given you.

Anna's house sounds like a wonderfully casual idea - but does she know what she is letting herself in for. That is quite an undertaking, to cater for all of us - and clean up afterwards!!! If not that, then for an easy place to be, if not Anna's, then I re-vote, once again, for the Sly Fox Inn near St. John's University.

May I remind you all once again, that for those of us who need to make air reservations, we need to settle on a date soon so those reservations can be made. Also, someone, I think it was Tommy, Zeida or even I, had suggested that once we settle on a date and a hotel, we can then bargain with them(the hotel) for a block of rooms at a reduced rate, and we can all stay at the same hotel.

In any event, I am REALLY looking forward to this reunion. This past Friday Estelle (Renee) Casali and I met in Gaffney, South Carolina for an impromptu lunch ( and then on to Christmas shopping). It was wonderful seeing her after so many years had passed. She looks wonderful, and her life has many full and exciting experiences. We had a good time reminiscing and rememering " the good old days". Lets all do it on a grand scale and get all of us together under one roof. It will be a blast!!!

Set the date, or give a choice of two possible dates, after John makes his spreadsheet of dates, and lets take it from there. Lets make this as accessible to the masses as we can and have a good time doing it too.

Now, looking at a calendar, here are the dates I could be available for a trip to NY:
Jan 31
Feb. 28th
March 13th
March 27th
April 3rd - This would be IDEAL for me cause it is Easter break for my job and I am off for 9 days.
April 10th
May 1st
May 15th
May29th This would also be ideal for me since as of this date I am now free of my job for the summer, but not my grad classes. My last day of work would be May 27th, and I could make a short vacation for myself up in NY at this time.
June 12th

This should be enough from me to give you an idea of my class schedule. Hope we can make a match with the majority and that the others can maneuver their schedules a bit to fit in with the majority. It will be the most fun if we ALL can make it. It will never be a perfect date for everyone, but if we all compromise, we can do this.
