It's time for the next OLA Mini-Reunion

Back to School and time for a change in the blog. I hope you like it.

Hey, sorry for the blackout on my part. I have been totally consumed with my new job.
I've sold out of my Atlanta property as part of a corporate relo and can't decide if Dallas is a stop on the journey or the destination. What sort of housing to sign up for...big house, small condo, town house or ranch? Who knows, I'll keep looking. My realtor says I'll eventually fall in love.

I'm certainly up for a mini but can't step up to the plate to make the plans. The Finger
Lakes sound great, I've never been. I'll go anywhere to keep the reunion going. We need more time to really make this incredible.

On knock hockey, I used to play at the public school up 63rd Drive on the left side. Remember? I certainly spent time at Halsey and remember it vert well. The park house had lot's of games, etc. as I recall and there was a great pizza place across 108th Street. But back up to 63rd drive, it was P.S. ....something or other...138? ...can't remember.. That was at the time during alter boys when my Dad moved up to Woodhaven Blvd. and I would walk past that school every day to get home, Roger Bubello would drop off from the walk at Wetherole Street, Carol at Austin. There was always the Triboro bus as an option. I'd usually stop off at that public school and crash their after school activities session and eventually joined their Sea Scouts squad. Yup, Sea Scouts believe it or not. It was great fun and I'm so sure that's how I eventually got into boating and later joined the United States Power Squadron at Queensboro Hall, years later, and really learned the ropes, bought a house and boat in Greenwich, CT.

Someone organize the next mini... please. I'm swamped and I know everyone else is busy too. You folks are in New York, so give me a break here in Big D. Doug you're in control so take the lead! Let's get John Ryan into the group and don't forget Richard Guzman this time. With a little advance planning, we can all make it happen again.

What do you think?

Love to everyone , I still talk about what we have been able to accomplish with our reunion.....too cool....

My heart goes out to Sonja. I remember her father.
